At the peak of its success, something almost unbelievable happened: our mother plant was accidentally lost.
We didn’t know it at first — the initial hints appeared only when the new plant material started growing differently.
Six months of testing confirmed the hardest truth: the original mother genetics were gone.
Analysis and the search for the right phenotype
We carefully examined samples from the first batch and noticed something unusual…
they didn’t match the breeder’s description. We originally purchased the strain 11:11 —
but the buds were an exact replica of another cultivar from the same breeder.
That’s how we learned that the breeder had once mixed up seeds during packaging — nearly impossible,
but it became the key to finding the line we needed.
This began a long process: studying our grower archives, visual identification, and searching for seeds worldwide.

When the original seedbank unexpectedly released Lucky 13 again, we ordered immediately.

Repeated shipments, months of communication and attempts to resolve the issue — all failed.
Another attempt to source seeds elsewhere ended with none of them germinating.

We acquired it and started over.
